When God Walked into My Dark Room

When God Walked into My Dark Room
I didn’t hear a knock. I didn’t see a light. But I felt Him, God stepped into my darkness. It wasn’t during prayer. It wasn’t in church. It was in my room, with my heart shattered and my faith barely hanging on. I had smiled too long, pretended too well, and prayed without really believing. I thought God was silent because I had failed. I wondered if maybe He loved everyone else more than me. But He came. Not with noise, but with presence. Not with explanations, but with comfort. I didn’t receive the answers I pleaded for, but I found something greater: I encountered Him not with my eyes, but deep in my soul. He whispered scriptures I had long forgotten: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…” (Isaiah 43:2). “Even if your mother and father forsake you, I will take you up…” (Psalm 27:10). He reminded me that my worth was never in my strength, performance, or even my faithfulness; it was always in His love. And maybe that’s what someone needs to hear today: You are not abandoned. You are not invisible. You are not a mistake. God sees you. He’s walking toward you even now. Not because you prayed hard enough, But because He is faithful. If you’re in a dark room today, don’t give up. God is not far away. Sometimes, He shows up when you when you least expect, but when He does, everything changes.
